Overview: This full-day workshop is designed to provide library leaders and managers with practical guidance on essential human resources topics affecting today’s libraries. Participants will gain a stronger understanding of investigations and conflict resolution, building a positive workplace culture, strategic planning and coaching staff. Led by experienced legal and HR professionals, the program offers actionable best practices, opportunities for Q&A, and resources to help libraries support staff effectively while maintaining compliant and productive workplaces.
What's included: Morning coffee, light refreshments and lunch will be provided for those who attend at the OLC office. All handouts, provided by presenters, will be available online through the OLC app. Print them prior to the conference, view them from your personal device during the event or view/download them after the event. Workshop recordings and handouts will be available online for 30 days following the program.
Continuing Education Credits: For those working toward their Ohio Public Librarian or Ohio Public Library Staff re-certification, this workshop counts as six (6) hours.
