DESCRIPTION:Registration Fees: Member $125* | Non-member $250*OLC Individual Members and staff of OLC Institutional Member Libraries.This is a hybrid event. Participants can attend in person at the OLC office in Dublin or online with the same access to workshop content. Workshop will be recorded and available to registrants for 30 days.Note: When registering\, please choose if you will be attending in person or virtually.Registration deadline: May 13Overview: The transition to a new management role can be challenging even for experienced and highly-skilled employees. The OLC's New Directors Workshop Series is created specifically for new and aspiring library directors who want to develop their management skills\, confidence and effectiveness. This comprehensive leadership training will cover proven techniques and powerful strategies for success in your new role. The program will be delivered through four workshops\; each focusing on a specific area of education.Who should attend: Library directors with less than three years of experience as a director\, interim or acting directors\, or library staff with management and/or administrative experience who aspire to become a library director.What's included: Morning coffee\, light refreshments and lunch will be provided for those who attend at the OLC office. All handouts\, provided by presenters\, will be available online through the OLC app. Print them prior to the conference\, view them from your personal device during the event or view/download them after the event. Workshop recordings and handouts will be available online for 30 days following the program.
