As conversations at the Statehouse continue to evolve quickly, the OLC is hosting a special virtual briefing on Monday, October 27 from 2–3 p.m. for directors and fiscal officers of OLC Institutional Member Libraries.
This session will deliver the most up-to-date information on critical financial and policy issues impacting Ohio’s public libraries, including proposed changes to property taxes, the role of county budget commissions, and other funding-related concerns.
OLC staff will also provide practical strategies to help you effectively communicate with legislators. You’ll come away with actionable talking points and a clear understanding of how to advocate for your library’s needs at the local and state level.
