Equalis Group Webinar: Contracts, Cost Savings & Smart Procurement Tools for Libraries
Monday, May 18, 2026 (2:30 PM - 3:30 PM) (EDT)
Description
Registration deadline: 5/17/26
Public libraries are navigating increasing demand for services while balancing limited time, staffing, and financial resources. This webinar is designed specifically for fiscal decision-makers responsible for ensuring sound, compliant purchasing decisions while maximizing value for their library systems.
The OLC and Equalis Group are marking their 16th year of partnership. This webinar will highlight how Institutional Member Libraries can take advantage of this long-standing collaboration to leverage Equalis Group’s cooperative purchasing solutions to streamline procurement, reduce administrative burden, and strengthen compliance.
The webinar will begin with a practical overview of the Equalis Group and how Institutional Member Libraries can use its competitively solicited contracts to save time and simplify purchasing processes. It will also introduce KaizenIQ Solicitation Builder, a new no-cost resource available to Equalis members, and demonstrate how it helps streamline the creation of solicitations when an existing contract is not available.
Learning objectives:
- Gain a better understanding of how to leverage Equalis Group contracts to support compliant, efficient purchasing decisions.
- Identify opportunities to save time and reduce administrative burden through cooperative purchasing.
- Recognize when to use an existing contract versus when to develop a solicitation.
- Learn how KaizenIQ Solicitation Builder can generate key components of an RFP (including scope, evaluation criteria, and questions) for any product or service in 20 minutes or less.
- Apply practical tools and approaches to improve procurement efficiency within your library system.
Presenters:
- Pam Dempsey, Director of Partnerships, Equalis Group
- Holly Stoots, Regional Director, Equalis Group
If you are unable to attend the live presentation, a recording will be made available to all registrants. Registration is required.
