Job Title: Director 

Immediate Supervisor: Board of Trustees

Status: Full-time

Salary: $50,000 per year+ commensurate with skills and experience

Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS or MLIS or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Library and supervisory experience required. 

The Library Director administers, supervises and coordinates the work of the Library and staff.  Performs managerial duties related to personnel, budget, collection development, building maintenance and library operations and services in conformity with the policies established by the Board of Trustees and the State of Ohio.  This position requires that the Director have thorough knowledge, skill and ability in every phase of the public library field. 

Ensuring that visitors have a positive library experience is the top priority for every staff member.  All staff are expected to provide friendly and exemplary service to visitors of all ages.
