Director of Development

Development Director – Way Public Library (Perrysburg, Ohio)
Pay Grade: $75,000 - $95,000
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week


Way Public Library is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Development Director to help advance our mission and strengthen the Library’s future.

Reporting to the Library Director, the Development Director will design and manage high-impact development initiatives, steward key donor relationships, and position the Library as a compelling philanthropic investment within the Perrysburg region. The successful candidate will bring a strong business mindset to nonprofit fundraising—combining data-driven strategy, clear performance metrics, and relationship management best practices to help support the Library’s long-term financial sustainability

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and confident communicator with demonstrated success, who enjoys connecting with people, telling the Library’s story, and building meaningful partnerships that support lifelong learning, access to information, and community enrichment. This role works closely with the Library Director, Foundation Board, and community stakeholders to grow philanthropic support and increase the Library’s impact throughout Perrysburg and the surrounding region.  This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping to shape the future of a respected community institution.
