Adams County Public Library is Hiring: Fiscal Officer

The Adams County Public Library is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fiscal Officer to oversee the library’s financial operations. This position may be filled as either part-time or full-time, depending on the selected candidate’s availability and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

The Fiscal Officer serves as the library’s financial officer in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as the directives of the Auditor of the State of Ohio and the policies of the Adams County Public Library Board of Trustees.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in public finance administration

  • Prior college coursework or professional experience in accounting, business, or public administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates required knowledge and skills

Additional Details:

  • Classification: Nonexempt

  • Schedule: Primarily daytime hours, with some evening and weekend hours as needed

  • Compensation: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience

  • Application Deadline: Open until filled. Priority consideration will be given to applications received by May 12.
