Maker Lab Specialist

The Troy-Miami County Public Library is looking to fill a full-time position in our Maker Lab. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

· Interest in Maker Lab services: A desire to work with equipment and programs like 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, and sewing machines.

· Experience with the DIY Maker Lab movement: Knowledge of the "do-it-yourself" creative philosophy that Maker spaces embody.

· Passion to assist patrons: A strong interest in helping library users design and create products using the available equipment.

The 30-40 hour per week work schedule consists of working mornings, days, evenings, and a weekend rotation. The starting pay rate for this non-exempt position is $19.53 - $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
