PURCHASING COORDINATOR – FULL TIME

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING:

Medina County District Library is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to provide accounting and administrative support to Fiscal Officer and Deputy Fiscal Officer. Position involves reviewing and organizing all purchasing related documents, preparing bank deposits, working with vendors, maintaining financial records, researching vendor pricing, and ordering and distributing supplies throughout the library system. Must have a working knowledge of web-based technology and be comfortable with processing documents electronically as we progress to a paperless environment.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must have an Associate degree in accounting, business, finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years prior experience in an accounting environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Public entity experience preferred. Strong business math aptitude, high attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational and documenting skills are required. Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.


WAGE:                                                  Pay range is $17.00 - $23.00 per hour commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications

HOURS:                                                Full-time; 37.5 hours per week. Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm
