Youth Services Librarian

The Delaware County District Library is hiring a full-time Youth Services Librarian for the Orange Branch.  This position focuses on creating and delivering engaging programs and services for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

• Developing and implementing children's programming and services;
• Providing direct services to patrons (in-person, phone, and online);
• Maintaining the collection and curating displays, and
• Fostering relationships with local schools, community partners, and local agencies.

An ALA-accredited MLS or MLIS degree is required; previous library experience is preferred.  The work schedule requires availability for mornings, days, evenings, and weekend rotations.  The salary range for this exempt position is $48,617 - $72,926, and depends on qualifications.
