Youth Services Manager

The Elyria Public Library is seeking an experienced, people-focused leader to serve as our next Youth Services Manager.

This role leads a talented team dedicated to serving children, teens, and families through innovative library services, engaging programs, dynamic collections, and meaningful community partnerships. What You’ll Do:

• Lead, coach, and support a team committed to exceptional service and continuous growth.
• Guide youth services, programs, collections, and spaces that reflect the interests and developmental needs of children and teens.
• Partner with the Branch Manager and community organizations to expand outreach and strengthen relationships with schools, childcare     providers, and organizations serving youth and families.
• Bring fresh ideas by staying current with emerging trends in youth services, literacy, and learning.
• Collaborate with branch leadership and colleagues to deliver one consistent, welcoming library experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant experience preferred.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
