2025 OLC Elections Start June 30

Your opportunity to vote in the OLC's 2025 elections will run from June 30 through July 30. OLC Individual Members will elect four members of the OLC Board of Directors, including one MLIS position, one library trustee position, and two at-large positions. Biographical information and candidate position statements will be included with your online ballot. 

As a reminder, representation on the Board is driven by the OLC's Code of Regulations and guided by Section 3.05, which aims to assemble a slate of candidates that reflects a diverse range of perspectives, experiences, and expertise essential for effective decision-making. This includes factors such as geographic representation, library size, areas of responsibility (e.g., director, adult services, children’s services, technical services) and years of experience.

The OLC is pleased to announce the following slate of candidates for election to three-year terms on the OLC Board of Directors (terms begin January 2026):

MLIS Director [one to be elected]

• Julianne Bedel, Executive Director, Medina County District Library
• Andrew Harant, Director, Cuyahoga Falls Public Library

Library Trustee Director [one to be elected]

• Robert Jenkins, Trustee, Bossard Memorial Library of Gallia County
• Cindy Lombardo, Trustee, Peninsula Library & Historical Society

At-Large Director [one to be elected]

• Kathy Bach, Director of Public Services, Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library
• Angela Bronson, Regional Manager, Toledo-Lucas County Public Library

At-Large Director [one to be elected]

• Michel Limer, Director, Guernsey County District Public Library
• Susan Titkemeier, Information Services Manager, Marion Public Library
